Vanderbilt University Resonance Hall Project

In 2018, Vanderbilt University embarked on an ambitious project to replace Carmichael Tower with a new residence hall while preserving the historical charm found throughout its campus. Faced with the challenge of adhering to both the university’s historical architectural standards and modern building regulations, Creative Millwork partnered with multiple window and door manufacturers to develop a custom solution. By leveraging advanced CAD technology and years of craftsmanship, Creative Millwork engineered a unique blend of solid milled aluminum profiles and hollow extrusions, creating a simulated divided lite (SDL) product that seamlessly combined modern functionality with the campus’s historic aesthetic. The result is a stunning finished product that enhances Vanderbilt’s architectural legacy for years to come.
